How can I help?
You don't have to donate your life's savings to help, nor should you have to. One of the simplest things you can do is ask how they are doing. They really need to know someone cares. Or maybe if there's a flood help bucket all of the mud out. It's just little things that make a difference. This disorder might never stop, but shortening the length of it is all we can do.... which IS enough.
If manual labor isn't your thing or talking with someone you can donate to organizations such as the Red Cross. It's crucial to have people come to the site as soon as possible, so the more supplies they have the better people will be in the long run. Thank you for caring enough to help those who don't.
